For our Berry Bramlage Division we are looking for a:

Formalities & Renewals Intellectual Property Paralegal Fulltime (m/f/d)


You will be an important member of the legal Berry Bramlage team as you will work directly with the IP manager and head of the legal department to provide overall support to the legal team. We are looking for a Formalities & Renewals IP Paralegal (full time with the option of working on a home office basis) to support our Berry Bramlage in-house legal function with everything from legal tasks, contact with notaries and various
administrative tasks and interact with our US in-house legal function occasionally.
The successful applicant will be also responsible for managing the IP renewals. You will be the first contact for our external renewals service provider and instructing and reporting on renewals including liaising with internal stakeholders. This will include organising documentary requirements for different jurisdictions, including powers of attorney, certificates and having these notarized or legalized according to the country requirements. You will also need to update our IP portfolio as well as legal documentation database. In the course of establishing an in-house patent filing system, other future responsibilities will include filing domestic and foreign IP applications and maintaining records of worldwide patent, trademarks, oppositions, cancellations, and conflict matters. As well as this, the ability to work well in a team, be motivated with a proactive attitude.


Experience of working in a similar job role in law firm or industry (2 years minimum)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organised and systematic approach to work
Good organisation abilities and attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workload
Proficiency in English at working level required role
Experience of Microsoft Office
